JC7584.   Vanadinite.  JC Holmes claims.  Santa Rita mountains, Santa Cruz county, Arizona.   7 x 10 cm  207g.  $65.00    Good coverage of orange crystals on black mottramite.  This location is an American classic, and has been thoroughly cleaned out.    This piece dates from the original find in the early 1980's.  Minor damage.  The veins in this deposit carrying the vanadinite were pretty tight and it was quite difficult to remove pieces without some damage to the crystals rubbing against adjacent wall rock or other vein fragments.
JC7587.  Vanadinite.  JC Holmes claims.  Santa Rita mountains, Santa Cruz county, Arizona.  9 x 11 cm  400g.  $75.00.   Good coverage of orange crystals on black mottramite.  This is a conglomeration of breccia fragments cemented together by the vanadinite.  The crystals have good luster and color.  No obvious damage.  This location is an American classic, and has been pretty thoroughly cleaned out.    This piece dates from the original find in the early 1980's.   No obvious damage.
