JC13911.  Pyrite, sphalerite.  Huanzala Mine, Huanzala, Huallanca District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash, Peru.  10 x 9 x 6 cm 996g  $150.00.   Brilliant octahedral crystals set off by contrasting small near black sphalerite crystals.  These are from a recent hit at Huanzala, and are outstanding for their brilliance and placement of the octahedrons.  Seems like everyone has a Huanzala pyrite, but these are really exquisite and stand out beautifully in any cabinet.   It is hard to get good photos because of the brilliance of the pyrite, and I have photographed this one from several angles.  Much better in person

JC13904.  Pyrite.  Borieva Mine, Madan Municipality, Smolyan Province, Bulgaria.  7.5 x 5 x 2.5 cm 246g  $25.00.   Specimen completely covered with bright cubic pyrite.  Lots of sparkle and pretty.   Pyrite is in mound like appearance, on a quartz matrix.  Much better in person.   There are 3 main mounds, one top, one lower left, and one lower right, giving it a more 3 dimensional look than the photo indicates.
